ARGUMNETIVE Essay Topics - What You Need to Know

ARGUMNETIVE Essay Topics - What You Need to KnowYour college or university advisor will help you decide which of the two or three ARGUMNETIVE essay topics are most appropriate for your program. Remember, they have an incentive to make sure your scores are as high as possible, so this is where they're going to devote their time. But what do you know about essay topics? Are they really that important? Or are they just what your school administrator feels are good topics for a semester?Well, I have news for you: the essay topic doesn't actually make any difference to your score. It does, however, make a huge difference to your results! So, be very careful when you discuss topics. The first thing you should do is to write the essay as if it were a general topic. Tell a story. Make a point. Nothing more. When you switch to a more specific topic, it's like you're talking about a background situation, not a situation you could easily discuss in a general topic. That means you're throwing away a little bit of your score. But keep in mind that since we're talking about the grade here, a little bit isn't going to hurt!To me, the main problem with the general topic is that they can be overanalyzed and explained. And it may not be clear how you'll use the material in the class. Remember, you're doing this for the grade, so make sure you put everything in the light it deserves. And don't worry: you're pretty much guaranteed a good grade on general topics, so take that as a given.Ifyou can, try to think of a specific topic that you might have used in a previous class. So, let's say you're taking Physics because you're interested in space. Do you need to learn about how to balance the moon, or the force of gravity, or the speed of sound? If you're going to write a brief article, try to cover at least two of these things. If you're going to write a book report, you can probably cover them all. Now go out there and give it a shot!
